Role
Payzone is seeking applications for the Retail Sales Manager role. The key focus will be on developing and implementing sales strategies within the Retail Payments industry, across a team of Business Development Representatives.
Responsibilities:
* Sales Strategy: Devise and implement sales strategies aimed at acquiring new customers and retaining existing ones across the Irish market.
* Sales Target Setting: Set targets for the sales team focused on the acquisition of new customers and revenue growth, aligned with budgeted KPIs.
* Team Performance: Monitor and manage the sales team performance, ensuring consistent pipeline development and recruiting customers through proactive prospecting and campaign activity.
* Account Management: Develop structured plans to support the sales team’s engagement with key customer groups and partners through strategic, proactive account management.
* Reporting and Analysis: Generate comprehensive reports and presentations detailing sales performance, pipeline status and campaign outcomes for internal stakeholders.
* New Products: Work alongside key stakeholders in signing up customers to new solutions.
* Customer Success: Collaborate cross-functionally with internal departments to ensure customer requirements are clearly understood and successfully implemented.
Desired Qualifications
* Proven experience of 5+ years successfully selling into a B2B environment, selling payments solutions into retail SME, key accounts and partners.
* Demonstrated ability taking responsibility for achieving targets with a strategic and analytical mindset who can challenge the team around them to drive positive outcomes for customers and the business.
* Experienced people manager developing staff, including conducting performance evaluations, setting goals, and providing training and development opportunities.
* Excellent presentation skills are essential, along with a good computer competency, and proven experience in Pipeline management and the use of CRM systems.
* Must have a track record of being customer focused, promoting a can-do culture.
* Excellent leadership, communication and negotiation skills.
* Business related qualification is essential.
