The company is now scaling its impact through a newly established Commercial Energy Solutions (CES) Department.
Responsibilities
Lead and conduct non-domestic energy audits aligned with ISO ***** and SEAI guidelines.
Identify energy conservation measures across building services and building fabric.
Model the energy breakdown of customer sites and perform energy calculations.
Model non-domestic building energy demands (e.g., Non-domestic BER).
Serve as technical support for grant applications, ensuring proposed works meet specific requirements for grant and state aid.
Prepare relevant documentation and technical workbooks to support grant submissions, ensuring alignment with funding criteria.
Establish energy baselines for future verification of energy savings.
Prepare and submit Measurement and Verification plans and reports aligned with ISO ***** / IPMVP.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of evolving funding windows, eligibility rules, and technical compliance standards for energy performance and renewable installations.
Produce concise, decision-ready audit reports that clearly communicate technical findings, savings projections and next steps to senior client management.
Effectively present technical analysis and grant-supported funding scenarios to clients, addressing queries as they arise.
Adhere to Health, Safety and Environmental regulation.
Perform any other duties reasonably requested within your capability.
Requirements
Level 7 degree or higher in Energy, Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services Engineering.
1-3 years of experience conducting non-domestic/commercial energy audits and preparing technical documentation.
Experience in SEAI grant applications and requirements.
Certification (CEM / CEA / CMVP) desirable but not essential.
Experience with Non-domestic BER / iSBEM software desirable but not essential.
Other Requirements
Full clean Irish driving licence.
Willingness to travel to client sites.
Proficiency in MS Suite, Excel, CRM and database tools.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
