Role Overview
Dexcom Rugby Stadium is a leading sports and events venue, known for hosting high-calibre rugby matches, events, and corporate functions. The stadium includes a vibrant café and versatile event spaces that can cater up to 800 people making it one of the largest venues of its kind in the West of Ireland. We are looking for an experienced and commercially driven General Manager (GM) to oversee all hospitality and event operations within the stadium. This is a pivotal leadership role with responsibility for delivering first-class guest experiences while driving revenue growth and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
· Oversee all hospitality operations: café, corporate suites, match-day service, and private events
· Ensure a consistently high standard of service, presentation, and guest satisfaction
· Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) across departments
· Manage a 7-day operational schedule, including match days, weekends, and special events.
· Lead and inspire front-of-house and kitchen teams, including chefs, baristas, waiting staff, and event coordinators
· Recruit, train, and retain high-performing staff
· Create staff rotas and ensure adequate coverage during peak and off-peak periods
· Manage P&L across all hospitality functions
· Drive sales and profitability in café and events through upselling, promotions, and strategic pricing
· Monitor budgets, labour costs, and stock control
· Work with suppliers and procurement teams to ensure value for money and quality
· Act on customer feedback to continually improve the guest experience
What We're Looking For
* Minimum 5 years in a General Manager or senior operations role within hospitality, stadiums, hotels, or events
* Experience running high-volume operations and leading diverse teams
* Strong financial acumen with P&L responsibility
* Proven ability to manage both retail (café) and event-based F&B services
* Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills
* Flexible and able to work evenings, weekends, and event days as needed

Pay: Up to €60,000.00 per year
