Role: Sales & Marketing Executive (Equine & Pet Division)

Overview
We are seeking a proactive Sales & Marketing Executive to drive online sales growth and deliver innovative marketing across our equine and pet product ranges. This hybrid role blends sales, digital marketing, and traditional campaigns — with a strong emphasis on using AI tools and automation to increase efficiency, improve reach, and support overall business growth.
The successful candidate will be hands-on across e-commerce, social media, content, and campaigns, while also helping us adopt smarter, AI-driven ways of working.
Key Responsibilities
Sales (E-commerce & Lead Generation):
* Grow sales on our e-commerce website through targeted campaigns, advertising, and social media.
* Use data-driven insights and AI-supported tools to optimise campaigns and improve conversion.
* Develop systems for lead generation and key account development.
* Manage WhatsApp campaigns and provide digital sales support to field reps.
Marketing (Digital & Traditional):
* Manage and maintain the company website, ensuring content is fresh, accurate, and sales-focused.
* Oversee social media channels, delivering engaging and brand-consistent content.
* Plan and run both digital campaigns and traditional marketing (print, events, sponsorships).
* Work with other marketing team members to support wider projects.
AI & Digital Tools:
* Introduce and use AI tools for content creation, analytics, customer targeting, and workflow efficiency.
* Help build automation into marketing processes to increase output without increasing workload.
* Keep up to date with new digital and AI platforms to ensure the business stays competitive.
Skills & Experience
Essential:
* Proven track record in digital sales and marketing, ideally within e-commerce, FMCG, equine, or pet sectors.
* Strong working knowledge of social media platforms and digital advertising.
* Hands-on experience with website management and e-commerce platforms.
* Strong interest in using AI and automation to improve marketing and sales performance.
* Excellent communication, content creation, and organisational skills.
Desirable:
* Experience with paid media (Google Ads, Meta Ads) and SEO.
* Familiarity with WhatsApp campaigns, CRM systems, or marketing automation.
* Basic knowledge of AI tools (ChatGPT, Jasper, Canva AI, HubSpot AI, etc.).
* Background in equine, pet, or veterinary industries.

Salary & Benefits
* €35,000 + per annum, depending on experience, plus performance-based sales bonus.
