Goods-In Operative – Chill & Frozen Stock Management
BWG Foods are currently recruiting for a General Operative on a Full-Time Permanent basis based in Value Centre, Galway.
Duties Include:
* Replenish the chill and frozen storage areas.
* Checking-in chill and frozen deliveries into the Depot.
* Ensuring all required paperwork and administration is completed and up to date.
* Stock management
* Ensuring compliance with all Food Safety and HACCP requirements.
* Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety and Security requirement.
* Attend monthly briefings/meetings.
* Process stock returns, damaged stock and out of date products.
* Ensure all areas maintained and clean and tidy at all times.
* Assist customers.
* Other associated duties as requested by your manager.
* Required to operate in various temperature environments: ambient, chilled, and frozen

* Be proactive.
* Be a highly motivated individual, who takes initiative with minimal supervision.
* Have a good working knowledge of HACCP.
* Be motivated and enthusiastic.
* Be dedicated and flexible.
* Have the ability to project a professional image at all times.
* Have experience working in a warehouse and/or goods-in environment.
* Experience operating a reach forklift, along with a current and valid operator's certificate, is highly desirable
* Must be comfortable working in ambient, refrigerated, and freezer environment
