About The Role
CRL Microbial Solutions is seeking a dedicated and technically skilled Field Customer Support Specialist (Field Service Engineer) to support our flagship instrument—the Nexus automated Endotoxin testing system.
This is a 12-month fixed-term contract role.
The role is critical to ensuring customer satisfaction through expert service, repair, calibration, and troubleshooting of our systems.
Key Responsibilities
Provide on-site and remote support for the Nexus system, including installation, maintenance, and repair.
Perform instrument calibration and validation in compliance with GMP standards.
Troubleshoot complex technical issues and ensure timely resolution to minimize customer downtime.
Support customer onboarding, including training, validation, and application support.
Build strong relationships with customers, acting as a trusted technical advisor.
Qualifications & Experience
Degree or equivalent experience in Engineering or Life Sciences.
Minimum 4+ years of experience in a technical, laboratory, or field service role.
Strong software engineering skillset.
Proven ability to problem-solve complex technical issues under pressure.
Experience in validation and working in GMP environments is a strong advantage.
Familiarity with SOPs, safety protocols, and regulated environments.
