About The Role
CRL Microbial Solutions is seeking a dedicated and technically skilled Field Customer Support Specialist (Field Service Engineer) to support our flagship instrument—the Nexus automated Endotoxin testing system. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract role. The role is critical to ensuring customer satisfaction through expert service, repair, calibration, and troubleshooting of our systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide on-site and remote support for the Nexus system, including installation, maintenance, and repair.
- Perform instrument calibration and validation in compliance with GMP standards.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and ensure timely resolution to minimize customer downtime.
- Support customer onboarding, including training, validation, and application support.
- Build strong relationships with customers, acting as a trusted technical advisor.
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree or equivalent experience in Engineering or Life Sciences.
- Minimum 4+ years of experience in a technical, laboratory, or field service role.
- Strong software engineering skillset.
- Proven ability to problem-solve complex technical issues under pressure.
- Experience in validation and working in GMP environments is a strong advantage.
- Familiarity with SOPs, safety protocols, and regulated environments.
