* Experience in Retail or FMCG sectors, particularly in trading entities or environments, is advantageous.
* Alternatively, a background in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Customer-Facing roles would be ideal.
About the Role
* Lead and manage the finance team, ensuring strong performance and collaboration.
* Oversee period-end, monthly management, variance analysis, audit, and core internal finance deliverable.
* Engage in business partnering with department heads, optimising and driving profitability.
* Provide commercial insights, leverage numbers, and identify key metrics.
* Closely collaborate with other budget holders on budgets and performance.
* Drive cost reduction and sales growth through proactive commercial ideas and solutions.
* Manage relationships with third-party outsourcing in the warehouse.
