We work together to maintain and improve our operations sites, reducing downtime and increasing efficiency. This includes carrying out planned preventative maintenance tasks, investigating and resolving issues quickly, and implementing long-term solutions. Our day-to-day activities may involve painting, plumbing, and working with contractors to access external expertise when needed.
Our RME Technicians are based on-site, enabling them to respond promptly to any machinery issues. As part of our team, you'll be responsible for maintaining the reliability of our equipment, which is essential for delivering customer satisfaction. You'll also contribute to continuous improvement projects, helping us to enhance our operational environment and roll out best practices across multiple sites.
To succeed in this role, you'll need to have relevant technical qualifications and experience, including NFQ6 (Higher Certificate or Advanced Certificate in Engineering) or Solace/Solas level 6 mechanical/electrical or Mechatronics. Additionally, you should have experience with planned preventative maintenance systems, fault finding within MHE/Automation systems, interpreting both mechanical and electrical drawings, and conveyor maintenance, motor controllers/inverters.
Beyond your technical skills, we value proactive individuals who are committed to upholding health and safety policies and practices. If you have experience in high voltage switching, sortation machines, bar code scanners, print and apply machines, or building equipment maintenance, that's even better.
