This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our operations.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform engineering tasks safely and in line with site procedures.Focus on critical plant issues and resolve root causes of recurring failures.Provide breakdown and changeover support to the production floor.Collaborate closely with the Maintenance Co-Ordinator and wider engineering team.Identify and report unsafe equipment or practices.Carry out preventative and corrective maintenance efficiently.Log faults and actions accurately using the required format.Share expertise and contribute to project teams.Deliver coaching and training when needed.Be flexible in supporting different areas of the site to meet business needs.Develop a broad understanding of plant operations and equipment.Plan and utilise machine downtime effectively for maintenance tasks.Take on specialist areas as directed by the Maintenance Co-Ordinator.Engage in continuous learning and development.Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations and company standards.Maintain data protection standards in line with legislation.What We're Looking ForProven experience in a maintenance or engineering role.Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.Flexibility and willingness to learn and adapt.Lakeland Dairies Ltd is committed to having an inclusive workplace where every employee feels they belong.
