About the Role As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will provide vital commercial support to project teams, ensuring contractual compliance, accurate cost management, and strong client relationships. Youll be instrumental in driving commercial performance and supporting the strategic goals of the business. Key Responsibilities Deliver robust, accurate, and timely cost and value reporting at project and business unit levels. Manage forecasting, cash flow, and monthly CVRs. Ensure adherence to commercial processes and contribute to continuous improvement. Negotiate and manage subcontractor contracts and financial accounts. Liaise with clients and third parties on variations, claims, and additional payments. Foster strong relationships with County Councils/local Authorities and other public sector bodies. Mentor and support junior surveyors and commercial staff. Collaborate closely with site teams and senior management. What Were Looking For Proven experience in a Senior Quantity Surveyor/Quantity Surveyor. Strong understanding of NEC, JCT, or other standard forms of contract. Experience working with County Councils/Local Authorities or public sector clients is highly desirable. Civils experience. Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines. Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related field. Membership of a professional body (e.g., RICS) is a plus. Why Join Us?
