We are currently recruiting for a Concierge who will work in our Front of House Department.
This is a seasonal, full time position available from April until the beginning of October 2025.
Duties: Booking and arranging guest activities, transportation, restaurant reservations and arranging amenities for special occasionsSet up and break down of conference and banqueting functionsRespond to guest queries over the phone, via email and in personMaintain a professional image at all times; a high standard of personal hygiene and grooming is essential, in line with company's uniform policyHandling and storage of guest luggage from their transport, to and from their roomsLiaising with drivers and guides to arrange pick up and drop off timesAnticipate guests needs and deliver service to the highest quality standardsUpkeep of the cleanliness of the luggage rooms and front of house areas at all timesEnsure that the guests get the best out of their stayParking of guest carsDriving guests to Killarney town when required in the hotel vehicleOther ad hoc duties can be assigned to you by the Front Office Manager and Hotel ManagerRequirements: Excellent knowledge of the local area and tourist attractions is essentialPrevious experience in a similar role within a high class Hotel IndustryExcellent communication skillsProficiency in all Microsoft Office systemsKnowledge of Opera is desirableFriendly, sociable and guest oriented - naturally warm and engaging personalityStructured and organised in your work, attention to detail is a mustEnjoy working in a busy and fast paced environment and as part of a teamFluency of the English language, both verbal and written, is essentialFull, clean Irish drivers licence is essential*Please note that we are only able to consider candidates who have independently obtained the legal right to work in Ireland for this position.
