Telecommunications Construction Quality Auditor (Remote)
HPSvision is a Galway Based company working in the Telecom Construction Industry in the USA. We are a subcontractor for one of the largest telecom contractors in the USA. We work with our customer to ensure that the construction & upgrades of their telecom sites all over the US are completed to the highest standard. As the builds are nearing completion our team are scheduled onto Virtual Quality Audits/Site Walks with the construction crew to review the build in great detail. We ensure each piece of equipment is installed per the customer & manufacturer standards. We also work alongside their engineers to ensure the documents are aligned with the site & make any alterations needed.
Construction Quality Auditor Job Spec.
The Quality Auditor will be responsible to plan and lead assigned quality audits on telecommunications construction projects completed by our contracting partners. The Quality Auditor will have a strong commitment to quality assurance and hold the knowledge to ensure the accurate construction of wireless telecommunications projects in relation to the related documents and customer standards.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Perform detailed live video audits on completed cell site construction projects from a PC.
* Responsible for reviewing the scope of work to ensure construction is completed in compliance with construction documents and standards.
* Identify quality defects and communicate resolution to field crews in real-time.
* Compile a post-audit report listing any defects or issues found during the process and communicate with the construction crew to resolve the issues.
* Provide further quality checks if needed, follow up on exceptions, develop solution-based resolutions, and escalate as necessary.
* Follow-up on outstanding quality audit corrective actions.
* Organise and upload a complete file closeout package per client specifications.
* Report project status and performance data to the customer as required by management.
* Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.
* Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.
* Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.
* Time management skills are crucial for on-time completion of projects for the customer.
* Through excellent communication skills, speak in front of somewhat large groups during quality team meetings to discuss and resolve issues.
QUALIFICATIONS:
* Knowledge of major wireless telecommunications carrier's installation/construction standards and guidelines for companies in the U.S. (Add-on training can be provided if needed)
* Previous experience within the telecommunications industry.
* Desire and willingness to succeed and learn new information and skills in a large industry.
* Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
* Strong organizational skills; able to manage priorities and workflow.
* Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions.
* Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, effective listening and writing skills.
* Ability to work within a large team to ensure optimal project completion.
* Demonstrated analytical abilities necessary to plan and prioritise own work, complete work on time and maintain required records and logs.
* Strong computer skills, mainly through the use of Outlook, Excel & Word.
* Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
Salary: 35,000 - 40,000 Euro
