We're seeking a Specification Manager (Dublin) to join our team and play a key role in driving product specifications, supporting architects and contractors, and expanding our presence in the construction sector. Key Tasks and Duties
* Specify and promote technical products, services, installations, and configurations to assigned customers for specific technical products and/or application of product
* Record and maintain customer and project data on company CRM system
* Provides technical interface between customer and company
* Research customer's technical specifications and requirements with current or potential technical specifications of company products
* Attend technical sales briefings with customers
* Prepare pipeline forecasts
* Investigate new applications or improvements to products with customers and other departments
* Attend trade fairs and seminars, co-ordinate stands etc / Co-ordinate samples for potential customers
* Liaise with architects, developers, building contractors and other bodies
* Assist other departments as requested to ensure company objectives are obtained.
* Tasks may require flexible working hours, and you may be asked to travel to our other sites from time to time
* Provide sound technical knowledge to act as the main technical contact advising those involved in specification or requiring technical assistance
* Liaising with architects and other professionals where technical advice is required.
* Develop the role by making initial contact with clients and building a database of the contacts
* Develop and present CPD presentations on a variety of subjects relating to energy efficiency in building design
* Identify and develop presentations in co-ordination with the Technical Manager
* Make recommendations to architects on receipt of drawings
* Interact with clients/customers on regular basis by phone/email etc.
* Make personal onsite visits to clients/customers
* Support the administration function of the Technical Office
* Assist in the preparation and issuing of company reports where required
* Maintain efficient administration procedures
* Continuously look at ways to develop systems to improve the performance and efficiencies of your role
* Assist other departments when required to ensure company objectives are achieved
* Training on any company software that may be required to assist you in your role
* Deal with correspondence in an efficient and confidential manner
* Organize and attend Unilin Insulation trade exhibitions
* Attend all appropriate Unilin Insulation meetings
