The position would suit a motivated and adaptable individual looking to progress their career in a progressive and innovative design consultancy.KNOWLEDGE SKILLS & EXPERIENCEStrong technical ability and good understanding of current engineering standards (Building Regulations, CIBSE/BSRIA Guides, IS / EN Standards).Experience in the design and specification of mechanical / building services systems (drainage, water services, heating, cooling, ventilation and controls).Good communication skills and ability to work as part of an engineering team.Minimum Third level degree in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering.Experience with Bluebeam, AutoCAD and Navisworks.Excellent level of attention to detail and accuracy.3 years+ experience in a similar role.KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIYEngineering design and management of tasks on projects as part of an integrated project team.Design and specification of mechanical engineering solutions to current regulations and design standards.DUTIES WILL INCLUDE ASSISTING WITH THE FOLLOWINGWorking directly with clients to define project requirements and develop technical solutions.Working as part of a project design team.Pre-construction engineering activities including coordination of services and production of information (tender drawings, schematics, specifications and equipment details).Monitoring and management of projects during construction including site inspections, technical submittals and RFI's.PARTICIPANTS WILL RECEIVEA competitive salary.Experience working closely with senior Staff Managers / Directors.Opportunity to progress your career within OCSC.Actively promote external learning with relevant professional bodies (EI/CIBSE).Active Sports & Social Clubs.Flexible working hours.Applicants are expected to be working towards Chartered Engineer status.
