Technical Sales Manager – Piping (Ireland)

We're looking for an experienced Technical Sales Manager to grow project and specification-led sales across a piping product portfolio within the building services sector.
This is a field-based role working closely with specifiers, contractors, and merchants, securing commercial project business and converting specifications into sales. You'll act as a trusted technical partner on projects, supporting customers from design through to installation.
What you'll be doing
* Building strong relationships with contractors, merchants, and specifiers
* Creating and influencing project specifications
* Converting specified projects into secured sales
* Developing new users and growing existing accounts
* Delivering contractor training and on-site technical support
* Ensuring merchants are fully trained and actively promoting products
* Managing activity, call reports, and project data through CRM
* Building and maintaining a strong project pipeline
* Achieving and exceeding agreed area sales targets
* Working closely with specification and internal support teams
What we're looking for
* Experience in technical sales within building services, piping, M&E or related products
* Strong understanding of contractor and specification-led sales
* Proven ability to win and convert project business
* Comfortable delivering technical training and site support
* Structured, disciplined, and CRM-driven
* Self-motivated, commercially aware, and target-focused
