We're seeking a skilled Highways Engineer to contribute to our dynamic team in Dublin & Cork.
About the Role
The ideal candidate will assist in preparing feasibility studies, scheme reports, and preliminary and detailed designs for highways and active travel projects across the UK and Ireland.
* Key responsibilities include attending progress meetings and public exhibitions.

Requirements
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
* A degree in Civil Engineering;
* Be nearing Chartered Engineer status with Engineers Ireland or equivalent;
* A solid understanding of Transport Infrastructure Ireland (TII) Publications and/or UK Design Manual for Roads and Bridge (DMRB);
* Experience in designing Major Highway, Local Road, or Active Travel schemes;
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to manage a challenging workload that may change at short notice;
* Experience with 3D Civils is advantageous;
* Basic knowledge of project management, contractual issues, and construction supervision;
* An understanding of Health & Safety legislation;
* Awareness of different contract types and procurement options.
