Key Responsibilities Carry out routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs on Volvo trucks and trailers to the highest standards. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults using both traditional methods and computer diagnostic equipment. Perform inspections and ensure all vehicles comply with safety and legal requirements. Maintain accurate records of work completed and parts used. Collaborate with drivers and other team members to ensure minimal vehicle downtime. Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental regulations. Requirements Recognised qualification as an HGV Mechanic. Proven experience working with HGVs, ideally with Volvo trucks and trailers. Experience with computer diagnostics is an advantage. Good written and spoken English is essential for effective communication and record-keeping. A full, clean HGV licence is preferred but not essential.
