As a highly skilled and dedicated Senior Occupational Therapist in our adult disability team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional care to clients. Conducting comprehensive evaluations is key to determining clients' needs, strengths, and goals.
Main Responsibilities
* Develop and implement personalized intervention plans to enhance independence, daily living skills, and community participation for our clients.
* Utilize evidence-based occupational therapy techniques to address sensory, motor, and cognitive challenges, ensuring the highest level of care.
* Provide clinical leadership in OT-related matters, guaranteeing quality and safety in service delivery.
* Offer mentorship and clinical supervision to junior therapists and therapy assistants, helping them grow and develop their skills.
We are seeking a candidate with a strong background in occupational therapy, excellent communication and teamwork skills, and experience in mentoring or supervising junior staff. A full driver's license and access to a vehicle are necessary for this community-based role.
