This permanent position offers a competitive annual salary with a structured shift pattern that includes early starts and early finishesideal for individuals who value work-life balance however you will work five days over seven.
The role involves the safe and timely delivery of goods to various locations, maintaining high levels of customer service, and ensuring all vehicle and driving regulations are strictly followed.
You must have a valid rigid truck licence and be comfortable operating in a busy logistics environment.
This position suits individuals who are self-motivated, punctual, and take pride in the quality of their work.
Responsibilities: Operate a rigid vehicle safely and in line with road transport regulations Carry out deliveries and collections to customer sites across designated routes Ensure all deliveries are completed within scheduled timeframes Complete daily vehicle checks and maintain cleanliness and roadworthiness Accurately complete and submit all relevant documentation and logs Liaise with dispatch teams and customers professionally and courteously Manage and plan route efficiency based on daily workloads Report any delays, accidents, or issues to transport management promptly Uphold health and safety standards at all times Requirements: Full valid Rigid (Category C) driving licence Driver CPC qualification and up-to-date driver card Experience driving rigid trucks Strong geographical knowledge of Cork and surrounding areas Excellent time management and reliability Good communication skills and customer-facing professionalism Ability to work independently and under minimal supervision Flexibility to work across any five days over seven, including weekends Clean driving record with a strong commitment to road safety What to do next: If youre interested in this role, click apply now.
