Civils General Foreman/Project Manager Role Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Civils General Foreman/Project Manager to join our team and work on large utility projects across Dublin.
Key Responsibilities:
* Co-ordinate and manage subcontractors to ensure smooth project delivery
* Maintain high standards of safety and quality control throughout the project lifecycle
* Attend regular management team meetings to discuss project progress and address any concerns
* Manage site activities, including recording manpower levels for each sub-contractor and keeping detailed notes
* Assist in controlling plant and equipment on site to optimise efficiency and productivity
Civils General Foreman/Project Manager Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:
* At least 5 years' experience as a foreman on civil engineering projects, including groundworks, roads, Irish Water, ESB, utilities and concrete
* Extensive experience in effective management of sub-contractors
* Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
* Strong understanding of site levels and ability to set up and use a pipe laser
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
* Proficiency in PC skills to complete timesheets and requisitions
