Estimator/Quantity Surveyor
We are seeking an experienced Estimator/Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Cork. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for preparing development budgets and feasibility appraisals, implementing value engineering, and analyzing tender returns.
* Budgeting and Feasibility Services: Preparation of Development Budgets and Feasibility Appraisals.
* Value Engineering: Implementation of Value Engineering techniques to optimize project costs.
* Tender Documentation: Preparation of tender documentation including Bills of Quantities.
* Tender Analysis: Analysis of tender returns to ensure accurate and competitive pricing.
* Financial Reporting: Preparation of financial reports to track project progress and expenditure.
* Cost Management: Operation of company Cost Management System to ensure compliance with quality, environmental and health & safety management systems.
* Payment Recommendations: Preparation of payment recommendations to ensure timely payments.
* Compensation Costs: Agreement of Compensation Costs to minimize project delays.
* Programme Analysis: Analysis of project programme to identify potential risks and opportunities.
* Team Management: Managing support staff to ensure efficient project delivery.
To succeed in this role, you will need to have working towards chartership, with a B.Sc. in Quantity Surveying, 2+ years post-qualification experience, familiarity with the Irish construction industry, RIAI and PWCs, excellent communication skills, ability to work proactively within project teams, and a commercially focused mindset.
