The Role
The Tax Associate will support the delivery of compliance and advisory services across a varied client base, working closely with senior team members on technically challenging and commercially relevant tax matters. This role is well suited to a part-qualified or newly qualified tax professional seeking strong career progression within a leading practice.
Key Responsibilities
Preparation of Irish tax returns and computations (Corporation Tax, Income Tax, and/or Capital Taxes depending on team)
Assisting on tax advisory and planning projects, including restructurings, transactions, and cross-border matters
Liaising with clients to obtain information and respond to Revenue queries
Supporting Managers and Partners in meeting client deadlines
Monitoring developments in Irish tax legislation and Revenue guidance
Contributing to team knowledge sharing and continuous improvement initiatives
Candidate Profile
Studying towards or recently qualified in CTA, ACA, or ACCA
1–3 years’ experience in a professional services tax environment
Strong understanding of Irish tax fundamentals
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Highly organised with strong attention to detail
Ambitious and motivated to progress within a top-tier practice
