We are seeking a dedicated and experienced EnvironmentalManager to lead and manage our client's environmental compliance and sustainability initiatives based in Co. Kildare. This role is central to ensuring their operations meet environmental regulatory requirements and align with their commitment to continuous environmental improvement. Responsibilities: Act as the primary point of contact with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), compiling and submitting all necessary reports. Maintain, implement, and manage comprehensive environmentalpoliciesandmanagementsystems. Regularly updateprocedures,manuals,andrecord-keeping systems to enhance the organisations environmental performance. Monitorandassesssiteemissions to ensure full compliance with EPA licence conditions. Conduct dailysitewalks to identify opportunities for improvement and ensure on-site environmental compliance. Perform weeklyenvironmentalchecks, including odourassessments,documentingandaddressinganyfindings. Collaborate effectively with internalteamsandexternalcontractors to uphold environmental standards and communication. Prepare and submit detailed environmental documentation which include; Annual Environmental Report (AER), Environmental Performance Report (EPR) and National Waste Collection Permit Office (NWCPO) returns. Oversee and maintain certifications to ISO9001 &ISO14001 standards, including preparation for audits and re-certification. Compile and report environmental data in line with InternationalSustainabilityandCarbonCertification (ISCC) requirements. Perform sampling and laboratory analysis in accordance with EPA and Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine (DAFM) standards. Requirements: A third-level qualification in Environmental and Earth Sciences, Environmental Engineering, Agricultural Science, or a related discipline. Proven ability to work independently and demonstrate innovationinenvironmentalpractices. Strong communicationandinterpersonalskills to work across multiple departments and with external stakeholders. Excellent reportwriting and data analysis skills. Familiarity with EPA licensing, ISO standards, and sustainability certification processes is highly desirable. Interested? Wed love to hear from you.
