A Snapshot Of Your Peer Group
* Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
* 3-5 years’ experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in a digital marketing environment.
* Proficiency in analytical tools such as Excel, Power BI, Adobe Analytics, and social media analytics platforms.
* Strong understanding of advanced statistical techniques and machine learning algorithms.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data insights in a clear and actionable manner.
* Experience with marketing-specific tools like SEMrush, AEM, Marketo, Social Networks Analytics, and Dynamics 365 is a plus.
* Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple data projects, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines.
* A team player with excellent collaboration skills, capable of working effectively with various departments.
* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data quality and integrity.
* Familiarity with data visualisation tools such as Power BI is an advantage.
* Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or R for data analysis is desirable.

Data Collection And Analysis
* Gather, organise, and analyse data to understand customer behaviour and campaign performance across various digital marketing channels including web analytics, thought leadership articles, social media (paid and organic), email campaigns, CRM performance, and paid online advertising.
* Apply statistical and analytical methods to interpret data, discover trends, and extract meaningful insights.
Performance Reporting
* Create detailed reports based on key metrics, providing core messages and actionable recommendations to the team.
* Produce visual representations of data, such as charts, graphs, and dashboards, to effectively communicate findings to non-technical stakeholders.
* Develop and maintain automated dashboards and reporting tools to streamline data analysis and reporting processes.
Insight Generation
* Identify key insights that can drive marketing strategies.
* Summarise and present analysis results in a clear and understandable manner through comprehensive reports, including recommendations for business actions based on the data.
Collaboration And Communication
* Communicate findings to stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner.
* Collaborate with marketing teams to optimise campaigns based on insights, ensuring data-driven decisions.
* Provide training and support to team members on data analysis tools and best practices.
Testing And Optimisation
* Conduct A/B testing and other experimental designs to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing strategies and campaigns.
* Monitor and evaluate the impact of implemented strategies, offering actionable feedback for continuous improvement.
Market And Competitor Analysis
* Conduct market and competitor analysis to benchmark KPMG's digital performance and identify areas for growth.
* Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to propose innovative solutions.
Tool Management And Innovation
* Utilise tools such as Excel, Power BI, Adobe Analytics, and social media analytics platforms to analyse and visualise data.

Your Team
This role sits within the central Markets team at KPMG (over 40 people), reporting into the Web Manager and working closely with a busy and dynamic Digital Marketing team. The Insights Analyst will play a key role in supporting data-led decision making across marketing and client engagement activity, helping to inform strategy, track performance, and identify opportunities for growth across our priority sectors.
This is a strong opportunity for an experienced analyst who brings precision, curiosity, and commercial awareness to their work. The right candidate will be confident working with large data sets, comfortable turning complexity into clarity, and skilled at delivering insights that drive action and add value.
The role will also support the evolution of our data and reporting infrastructure, including the introduction of new tools and capabilities—so a flexible, solution-focused approach is important.
The ideal candidate will have a track record of producing clear, meaningful analysis for senior stakeholders and a natural ability to communicate insights in a way that informs, influences, and inspires.
