Your impact
As the Scheduler, you will be required to provide support to the Project Manager (BusConnects) ensuring the project to which they have been deployed is delivered efficiently and on-time. This will include maintaining accurate site schedules and report project plan progress, milestones, conflicts and opportunities for input into the master schedule as well as managing the impact of schedule changes and ensure timelines are communicated to relevant stakeholders.
BusConnects is a strategic national-level intervention for Ireland that will enhance sustainable transportation and the environment by upgrading walking, cycling and bus infrastructure in Dublin, Cork, Limerick, Galway, and Waterford. We have been appointed by the National Transport Authority (NTA) as their Client Partner to deliver Dublin's BusConnects infrastructure. This will include providing programme management and multi-disciplinary expertise over a 10-year programme to deliver 12 schemes comprising 230 kilometres of continuous bus priority corridors and 200 kilometres of cycle paths and improved pedestrian facilities from procurement through to handover of this new infrastructure.
Here's what you'll need
* 5+ years' experience in schedule management and a proven track record of conducting schedule management activities in high value road or infrastructure projects
* Ability to manage multiple technical requirements and teams within a construction environment
* Fully proficient in the use of P6 & MS Office applications and other project tools and methodologies
* Scheduling and resource management in multiple large scale / value projects and programmes
* Advanced capability and experience of scheduling systems administrative functions such as layouts resources, reports, codes
* Ability to deal with and resolve unforeseen risks and issues
