Job Opportunity:
Candidates are sought for a 12-month Analytical Chemist position at an R&D Centre in Swords, Co Dublin.
The successful candidate will provide technical support for all aspects of analytical methodology, development, transfer, qualification, and troubleshooting pertaining to small molecule APIs and intermediates.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carrying out analytical testing in a timely manner
* Preparing and executing analytical protocols
* Ensuring documentation is completed to the required standard, right first time
* Liaising with senior analytical chemists for technical support
* Attending weekly team meetings and participating in continuous improvement initiatives
About the Role:
The position is based at the R&D Centre in Swords, where technical and operational expertise support the development and manufacture of clinical and commercial products.
The R&D Centre provides a collaborative environment for scientists and engineers to develop new technologies and processes.
Candidates should have a strong background in analytical chemistry and be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry or a related field
* Experience in analytical chemistry, including HPLC, GC, and spectroscopy
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills
* Able to work in a fast-paced environment
