Job Overview
We are seeking an accomplished Quality and Technical Leader to spearhead quality management initiatives.
The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of quality systems, food safety compliance, and technical standards.
Main Responsibilities:
* Maintain the Quality Management System, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Oversee staff training, internal audits, and compliance reporting.
* Manage food safety, quality, and customer specifications for all products.
* Investigate and resolve customer complaints, implementing corrective actions.
* Manage product and environmental testing and report performance trends.
* Liaise with regulatory bodies and prepare for audits and inspections.
* Lead R&D initiatives for new product development and customer projects.
* Provide technical support to production teams and supervise lab operations.
* Stay up to date with relevant food safety legislation and update processes as required.
Requirements:
* Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or related field.
* Proven experience in a senior quality or technical role within the food sector.
* Strong understanding of HACCP, BRC, and food law compliance.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
