The company has reported revenue growth and an increasing Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR).
The role reports to the Financial Controller and will have full responsibility for financial reporting and revenue accounting in a rapidly growing software organization with expanding international operations.
Responsibilities Produce accurate, timely, and meaningful financial information for the Group in compliance with IFRS and Canadian regulatory requirements, applicable to a publicly listed, fast-growing software company with international operations Analyze revenue contracts and prepare accounting for revenue in compliance with IFRSPrepare quarterly and annual Group Financial Statements (IFRS) and related publication documents for Canadian and TSX requirements Analyze and report quarterly revenue results and determine appropriate IFRS 15 accounting treatment for sales contracts Research and analyze complex accounting issues; prepare accounting memos; assess and implement new IFRS standards Lead quarterly and annual external audits; manage relationships with auditors; prepare for Audit Committee meetings; support internal audits Prepare statutory financial statements for the Irish legal entity Ensure ongoing compliance with TSX and Canadian public company regulations and statutory requirements Manage equity disclosures and filings for employee and director stock compensation plans Ensure timely month-end accounting and related management reporting Develop and maintain internal controls to SOX-equivalent standards for revenue recognition Support accounts receivable and contracts teams to ensure accurate invoicing and identify contracts up for renewal Collaborate with business partners and legal counsel on contract reviews and revisions where finance input is required Support preparation for the public company AGM as required Support periodic company funding activities Assist with budgets and forecasts as required Provide leadership to develop the revenue, reporting and accounts receivable functions and drive continuous improvement in the finance department Interact with commercial and operations teams to ensure accuracy of financial records Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Member of ACA, ACCA, or CIMA4–5 years of PQE in a financial reporting role, with IFRS and IFRS 15 software revenue experience Knowledge of IFRS accounting theory and ability to apply it in practice Experience in multinational settings with multiple international locations is desirable Experience with a public company is advantageous Self-motivated with excellent communication and teamwork skills; proven ability to communicate with stakeholders High attention to detail (numerical and written)Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; Net Suite experience is a plus What we offer you At Kneat, we value ideas and collaboration and foster a culture that builds, protects, and celebrates teamwork.
