Legal Counsel Job Description
KDP Ireland is seeking to add a lawyer with experience in drafting, review and negotiation of complex transactions. The role will focus on supporting Keurig Dr Pepper's global Procurement functions in contract review, drafting and negotiation.
This challenging role requires collaboration with various functions throughout the company and will provide ample opportunities to learn, be challenged, and to grow professionally in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the Procurement functions with a focus on IT, Marketing, Manufacturing and R&D in the review, drafting and negotiation of a large variety and volume of agreements;
* Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of IT Procurement agreements (including software licensing, SaaS agreements, cloud service agreements and others);
* Advise on technology transactions, ensuring compliance with intellectual property requirements, data privacy and cybersecurity standards;
* Assess and mitigate risks in Procurement transactions, identifying potential liabilities and ensuring that contract terms align with corporate policies;
Requirements:
* Qualified lawyer with 6-8 years of experience in international corporate / commercial law at a large law firm or corporate legal department;
* At least 3 years of legal experience in drafting, reviewing and negotiating IT Procurement agreements and other Indirect Procurement agreements either at a law firm or as part of an in-house corporate legal department;
* Experience advising global teams and collaborating with global functions;
