Responsibilities
* Building performance modelling - NEAP, Energy and Carbon, Daylight and Thermal Analysis
* Develop and oversee Building Regulations ((TGD L and NZEB) compliance strategies
* Communicating/delivering best practices, requirements and guidelines to the project team
* Design management for green buildings targeting certifications and sustainability strategies
* Develop sustainability reports and drawings as necessary
* Present project strategy’s and requirements to external/internal team members and client representatives
* Research and innovation with regards to up-to date sustainability trends and technologies
Qualifications / Skills
* 2+ years experience as a Sustainability Engineer
* Degree in Building Engineering, Sustainability, Mechanical Engineering or related field
* Experience with
* IES software for NEAP modelling, Energy Modelling, Daylight and Thermal Analysis
* Building Regulations (TGD L and NZEB)
* LEED and BREEAM rating systems
* LEED Commissioning Agent (CxA)
* Energy auditing
* U-value calculations
* Planning reports and LZC assessments
* DEAP software
* 2D and 3D Autodesk software
* Home Performance Index (HPI)
* Life Cycle Assessments and embodied carbon analysis
* Registered with SEAI as non-domestic and/or domestic BER assessor
* Excellent communication, research and presentation skills
* LEED Accredited Professional would be beneficial
* Proficiency in English
