Logistics Administrator
Excel Recruitment is seeking a Logistics Administrator for our client who specialises in the transport industry. This role is a full-time permanent position based in Dublin 11 and offers an exciting opportunity to support a busy logistics environment.
Responsibilities
1. Assist with daily delivery planning across multiple hubs
2. Keep internal systems updated and accurate
3. Prepare reports and track key performance indicators (KPIs)
4. Monitor and report on delivery issues such as missing or damaged items
5. Manage site documentation and stock records
6. Handle customer queries and liaise with internal teams
7. Build strong relationships with stakeholders
8. Support the planning team and Operations Manager with reports and meeting notes
9. Maintain compliance documentation for health, safety, and environmental standards
10. Assist with audits and system checks
11. Help coordinate holidays, absences, and time-sheets
12. Prepare performance and training records
13. Contribute to a positive team culture
Requirements
14. Experience in administration or coordination, ideally in logistics or transport
15. Strong IT skills, especially Excel and planning systems
16. Excellent attention to detail and organisational ability
17. Clear and confident communicator
18. Proactive and adaptable in a fast-paced setting
