About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Occupational Therapist to join our team in providing allied healthcare professional services for Older Adults. The ideal candidate will be working part-time, 20-22 hours per week, and have an interest in research and development, particularly in long-term residential care.
Main Responsibilities
* Structure and promote current services and communication pathways with team members, service users, and their families.
* Support activities/strategies that contribute to the improved effectiveness of the service.
* Conduct seating assessments, complete functional and hand assessments, make recommendations on environmental layout, and perform cognitive assessments.
Requirements
* BSc or MSc in Occupational Therapy with validation of qualifications if outside Ireland.
* CORU registration and insurance.
* Full driving license and own vehicle.
* Recent and long-term references.
* Excellent English communication skills.
