Commercial Litigation Solicitor (2–5 PQE) | CorkAn excellent opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Litigation Solicitor (2–5 years' PQE) to join the Cork office of my client, a highly regarded Irish law firm with a leading dispute resolution practice.The team is known for handling some of the most significant and complex disputes before the Irish courts and for delivering strategic, commercially focused solutions. Work spans all judicial fora — from District Court through to the Commercial Court and High Court — as well as mediations, arbitrations, and regulatory investigations.The RoleYou will work closely with an experienced partner on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious matters, gaining exposure to high-profile cases across multiple sectors including finance, technology, energy, construction, and professional services.Key responsibilities include:Advising clients on complex commercial disputes, banking and financial services litigation, professional negligence, employment disputes, and regulatory investigationsManaging High Court and Commercial Court matters, including large, multi-party and cross-jurisdictional disputesSupporting clients through alternative dispute resolution procedures, including mediation and arbitrationDrafting and reviewing legal documentation, preparing briefs, and conducting case-specific researchProviding clear, pragmatic and commercially-focused advice to corporate and professional clientsDeveloping and maintaining strong client relationships and supporting business development initiativesThe CandidateThe ideal candidate will:Be a qualified solicitor in Ireland with 2–5 years' PQE in commercial litigationHave experience managing files and engaging directly with clientsDemonstrate commercial awareness and the ability to provide practical, strategic adviceBe collaborative, proactive, and keen to develop within a high-performing disputes teamHave strong attention to detail and excellent communication skillsThe OpportunityThis is an outstanding opportunity for a solicitor looking to advance their litigation career within a growing Cork office.
