Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Service Engineer to join our team in South Leinster. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, service, maintenance, validation, upgrade, calibration, and repair of complex equipment and systems.
About the Role:
* Fault finding, service, and repair of medical equipment
* Updating service and repair systems
* Requisitioning spare parts with the procurement team
* Attending training courses and refresher training as required
* Review of process and equipment maintenance documentation and SOPs as necessary
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct on-site installation of complex equipment and follow testing procedures to ensure proper working order
2. Conduct on-site scheduled, planned preventative maintenance visits
3. Provide troubleshooting and repair support for customers and other field service personnel
4. Travel, often on short notice, to customer sites to resolve problems or support other field service personnel
5. Complete and submit field service reports
6. Provide training for customers and users on system maintenance
Requirements:
* 2+ years' experience working on servicing equipment (ideally medical, scientific)
* Third-level university degree in electrical mechanical engineering
* Hands-on technical experience installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and calibrating complex equipment
* Full clean driver's license

* Full-time/permanent position (Monday - Friday, 9:00 am - 5:30 pm)
