Key Responsibilities:
The primary function of this role is to lead and manage the department's performance, ensuring the delivery of outstanding results and customer service. To achieve this, the successful candidate will be responsible for:
* Delivering the agreed business strategy through inspirational leadership and coaching.
* Maximizing sales through data analysis and understanding customer needs and demands.
* Maintaining accurate trading records and ensuring compliance with relevant policies and procedures.
* Ensuring all processes and business changes are implemented as per the business requirement and on time.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication, coaching, and leadership skills. They should have a customer-focused approach, strong organizational and time management skills, and a commercial mindset with appropriate product knowledge.
Additionally, the successful candidate will need to demonstrate problem-solving and decision-making skills, as well as people management skills and IT literacy. Department or team leader level experience in a fast-paced retail environment and customer-focused business would be an advantage but not essential.
