As Manufacturing Team Lead, you will report to the Shift Performance Manager and take full responsibility for coordinating and overseeing the production process across your shift. You'll ensure that products are manufactured efficiently, cost-effectively, and to the highest quality standards, while maintaining a strong focus on safety and team performance. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage a shift team to deliver safe, efficient, and compliant manufacturing operations Plan, coordinate and control daily production activities and workflow Monitor product standards, schedules, and output, adjusting plans where necessary Coach, mentor, and support your team through appraisals, training, and development Oversee performance management, including absence, investigations, and disciplinary procedures Implement and uphold quality and health & safety procedures Liaise with internal teams and departments to ensure smooth operations and project alignment Support continuous improvement initiatives and foster a high-performance culture Candidate Profile: Previous leadership experience within a production or manufacturing environment Good working knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality systems, and safety compliance Strong people management and communication skills Proactive problem solver with strong organisational skills Comfortable using IT systems and production-related software A degree or equivalent experience in a relevant discipline is desirable This is a hands-on role that would suit a proactive, adaptable leader who thrives in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.
