The opportunity described is for a Senior Learning & Development Specialist – Healthcare, based onsite at our manufacturing site in Athenry, Ireland.

You'll help lead impactful learning initiatives at the new manufacturing site in Athenry, fostering a culture of growth and continuous improvement, while partnering across teams to deliver training that makes a difference.
Where You Come In
Drive L&D strategies that align with business goals and deliver results
Facilitate engaging training sessions across technical and non-technical functions
Collaborate with global teams to assess learning needs and improve performance
Own and manage the New Employee Orientation programme
Coach subject matter experts to deliver high-impact learning experiences
Provide feedback through training observations to support facilitator development
Manage the annual training calendar, including scheduling and logistics
Maintain and update site-specific training matrices with functional leads
Administer LMS tasks including assignments, records, and reporting
Oversee external L&D vendors and manage related budgets
Lead the full IDA Training Grant process from start to finish
Support internal and external audits related to training
Ensure consistency in training rollout across global Dexcom teams
Champion safety and quality throughout all training activities
What Makes You Successful
Bachelor's degree with 5–8 years' experience in L&D
Proven success in manufacturing environments
Skilled facilitator with engaging presentation style
Experienced in LMS administration and data reporting
Strong communicator and stakeholder manager
Knowledgeable in training evaluation and continuous improvement
Adaptable and proactive in fast-paced settings
Experience with grants and vendor management is a plus
Committed to safety, quality, and development
Preferred Qualifications Include
Manufacturing or automation experience
Degree in L&D, training, or human performance
Certified trainer or facilitator
Behavioral assessment credentials (e.g., DiSC)
Medical device industry experience
Experience in start-up or scale-up environments
