1. Be part of a team for a center of excellence, based in Dublin, specializing in data acquisition for StateStreet’s reconciliation teams.
2. Work closely with colleagues across the globe, representing EMEA in a team covering the US and APAC regions.
3. Candidates should have a background in international financial services and experience with various IT skillsets.
4. The role involves responsibilities and ownership of data used across multiple StateStreet business units.
5. Become subject matter experts on data used in position, trade, and cash reconciliation workflows on accounting and custody platforms.
6. Develop an understanding of different products traded across business units.
7. Collaborate with business teams to capture their data and reconciliation requirements.
8. Work with internal and external data vendors, including counterparties and custodians, to source daily production data.
The technology requirements include enhancing connectivity and Straight Through Processing of data.
1. Exposure to existing technology infrastructure.
2. Knowledge of databases, such as Oracle and SQL.
3. Familiarity with or experience in Cloud technologies like AWS, S3, Snowflake.
4. Skills in Data Mapping, Data Stage, ETL processes.
5. Understanding of encryption and FTP protocols.
6. Experience with error handling and exception management.
7. Knowledge of SDLC methodologies and tools.
8. Ability to build reusable metrics to manage and measure data ingestion and reconciliation performance.
9. Proficiency in dashboarding and KPI development.
10. Opportunities to apply AI and Machine Learning techniques in the role.
