Role Description
The Tax Director will lead tax advisory and compliance services, ensuring clients meet regulatory requirements while optimizing tax efficiency. Responsibilities include managing tax compliance processes, overseeing tax preparation, advising on tax strategies, and staying current with evolving tax laws and regulations. The Tax Director will collaborate with internal teams, mentor junior staff, and build strong relationships with clients by delivering tailored, strategic advice. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Kilkenny.
Qualifications
Extensive knowledge and experience in Tax, Tax Compliance, and Tax Preparation
Strong understanding of Tax Law and its application to diverse business scenarios
Proficiency in Accounting principles and practices
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Ability to mentor and manage teams effectively
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for client interactions
Professional accounting or tax qualification (e.g., CPA, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent) required
Experience working with clients across diverse industries is an advantage
