Retail media is the third wave of digital — after search and social — and it’s the biggest opportunity in advertising right now: reaching real shoppers in a brand-safe environment at the moment of highest purchasing intent. Elevate are investing significantly to build a market-leading proposition across in-store, out-of-home, online, and off-site, and we’re hiring the person who will lead that growth within the media agency & out of home specialists market.
What you'll be doing:
Successful candidate will be responsible for Elevate’s agency revenue budget and the relationships behind it, opening new agency conversations, winning share of brief, and embedding Elevate into the planning process across the major Irish media agency networks, as well as the OOH specialists.
You’ll work alongside our brand-direct, planning, insights, and creative teams, but you’ll develop & deliver the agency strategy and plans.
Grow agency revenue. Responsible for the annual agency budget. Build and convert a pipeline across the major agency groups. Win share of new briefs and unlock budget that isn’t currently coming to retail media.
Sell at a strategic level. Operate as a trusted advisor to senior planners, investment leads, and client strategy teams. Position Elevate’s proposition early in the brief, not at the response stage.
Build the deals. Lead trading conversations with agency groups & negotiate campaigns & partnerships that work for both sides and scale over time.
Bring the proposition to life. Work with our creative, data, and insights teams to package Elevate’s omni-channel capability — in-store, OOH, online, off-site — into propositions agencies want to put in front of their clients.
Be the agency voice inside Elevate. Feed agency-side intelligence back into product, pricing, and campaign delivery. Help shape what we build next.
Deliver with the team. Partner with Brand Activations, data, and insights teams so that what you sell is delivered brilliantly and what gets delivered builds the next sale.
What we are looking for:

5+ years in media sales, ideally with significant time selling to agencies (broadcast, digital, OOH, publisher, or retail media backgrounds all welcome)
A deep network across the Irish agency market — media agency planners and investment leads, OOH specialist buyers, and client strategy contacts
A track record of achieving & exceeding revenue targets, not just managing accounts
Genuine fluency in omni-channel solutions and an understanding of where retail media fits
The credibility to sit in front of senior agency stakeholders and the curiosity to learn the client side of FMCG/retail
A bias for action, a collaborative style, and the kind of “can-do” attitude that thrives in a fast-moving, still-being-built business

Knowledge of FMCG or retail is an advantage, not a requirement. We care more about the agency relationships, the commercial track record, and the appetite to build something.
