Mixed Veterinary Surgeon Mallow, Co. Cork
A well-established mixed veterinary practice in Co. Cork is seeking a dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to join their team. This role offers a truly varied caseload across both large and small animals, providing excellent scope to develop and apply a broad range of clinical skills.
Role & Requirements:
* Competence in both large animal and small animal medicine and surgery is required.
* Excellent communication skills are essential for building strong client relationships and working effectively within the team.
* Experience is preferred, though support will be provided where needed.
Duties & Responsibilities:
* Deliver high-quality clinical care in both farm animal and companion animal practice.
* Carry out routine herd health work, fertility visits, diagnostics, and emergency care.
* Perform consultations and surgeries in small animal practice.
* Participate in the shared OOH rota: 1:3 during the spring period and 1:4 for approximately eight months of the year.
