Role OverviewThe National Fleet Manager is responsible for leading and growing Hyundais fleet and business-to-business (B2B) sales across Ireland. This role will develop and execute the national fleet strategy, build strong relationships with key corporate, leasing and public sector customers, and work closely with the dealer network to maximize fleet performance, profitability and brand presence.The successful candidate will bring strong automotive industry experience, with a particular understanding of the fleet sector, and will play a key role in strengthening Hyundais position in the Irish fleet market.Key ResponsibilitiesFleet Strategy & SalesDevelop and implement a national fleet sales strategy aligned with Hyundai Cars Irelands overall commercial objectivesDrive fleet volume, revenue and market share across corporate, SME, leasing, rental and public sector channelsIdentify new business opportunities while maximizing existing fleet account performanceKey Account ManagementManage and grow relationships with national and key regional fleet customers, leasing companies and mobility partnersLead contract negotiations, pricing agreements and tender submissions in line with company guidelinesEnsure high levels of customer satisfaction, retention and long-term partnership developmentDealer Network SupportWork closely with the Hyundai dealer network to support and grow local fleet sales activityProvide guidance, training and best-practice tools to dealers to enhance fleet capabilityAct as the central point of contact between dealers and Hyundai Cars Ireland for fleet-related mattersProduct, Pricing & Market InsightCollaborate with product, marketing and Sales teams to ensure competitive and relevant fleet propositionsMonitor competitor activity, market trends, taxation and regulatory changes impacting the fleet sectorSupport the positioning and growth of Hyundais electric and low-emission vehicle range within fleet channelsReporting & Performance ManagementTrack fleet performance against agreed targets, budgets and KPIsPrepare regular performance reports, forecasts and business reviews for senior managementEnsure compliance with internal processes, governance standards and brand guidelinesSkills & ExperienceProven experience within the automotive sectorDemonstrable understanding and hands-on experience of the fleet sector of the automotive industryStrong commercial acumen with a successful track record in B2B or fleet salesExcellent negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skillsFull clean driving license and willingness to travel nationwideExperience working with franchised dealer networksKnowledge of fleet electrification, EVs, hybrids and total cost of ownership analysisUnderstanding of Irish fleet taxation and procurement processesPersonal AttributesStrategic, commercially minded and results-drivenConfident and credible when engaging with senior decision-makersHighly organized with strong analytical and planning skillsSelf-motivated and comfortable operating in a national roleSalary & BenefitsAttractive salary package in line with experiencePerformance-related KPI bonusCompany carLaptop and mobile phoneWhy Hyundai Cars Ireland?Hyundai Cars Ireland is a welcoming and supportive place to work, where teamwork, respect, and personal development are genuinely valued.
