Job Title: Quality Manager

My client, a global organization currently have an urgent requirement for a talented Quality Manager to join on a permanent basis. In this role you will have full responsibility for the development, implementation, and maintenance of the Quality Management System in line with ISO 17025, ISO 9001, INAB, and relevant regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Quality Management System (QMS)
Implement, maintain, and continuously improve the QMS in line with ISO 17025, ISO 9001, INAB, and applicable regulatory standards.
Lead internal, external, client, and accreditation audits.
Manage the internal audit programme, including scheduling, auditor meetings, and audit assignment.
Oversee document control, change management, non-conformances, and CAPA processes.
Analyse quality trends, metrics, and risks to drive continuous improvement.
Prepare and present QMS performance reports for management review.
Quality Performance & Reporting
Define, monitor, and report on Quality KPIs including turnaround times (TAT), client communication, service fulfilment, and client satisfaction.
Prepare executive-level quality performance and compliance reports.
Laboratory Oversight
Collaborate with laboratory managers on SOP approval, method validation, and method development.
Ensure accuracy, reliability, and validity of microbiology and chemistry testing.
Coordinate internal verification, external calibration, and proficiency testing programmes.
Support training and competency assessment of laboratory staff on quality systems and procedures.
Ensure ongoing compliance with food and environmental testing regulations.
Required Experience & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Chemistry, Biology, or a related scientific discipline (Master’s preferred).
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a laboratory quality role, with at least 2 years in a leadership capacity.
Experience in food or environmental testing laboratories is strongly preferred.
