Person in Charge

This role involves overseeing staff, implementing personal plans, and collaborating with families and schools to provide seamless support.
As Person in Charge, you will lead the team to deliver high-quality services, ensure compliance with regulations, and foster a culture of excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and support staff in delivering high-quality services
* Oversee and implement each person's Personal Plan through regular reviews
* Liaise with families, schools, and day programme staff to ensure continuity of support
* Support the PIC in ensuring compliance with HIQA regulations and standards
* Ensure delivery of appropriate, person-centred care and support for daily living activities
* Manage key operational areas including safety, risk, finances, transport, and rosters
* Provide leadership, supervision, and performance management for assigned staff
* Support staff development through training, personal development planning, and reviews
* Keep records and databases up to date, including monitoring and auditing processes
* Act as a point of contact for the service, addressing queries professionally and promptly
Requirements:
* Minimum of a Level 7 degree in Social Care or equivalent
* Previous experience in the ID sector, preferably in a management/supervisory role
* In the process of CORU registration
* Working knowledge of HIQA standards and regulations
* Garda Vetting/Police Clearance
