Overview
Senior - BPO - Advisory FAAS role at Grant Thornton Ireland (GT). This is a high profile position within the FAAS department, focusing on Global Compliance and Reporting Solutions (GCRS), Flexible People Solutions, Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) and Global Payroll Solutions (GPS) from our Centre of Excellence in Ireland.

Main Responsibilities
* Provide practical solutions to clients’ complex financial reporting issues as part of the Advisory FAAS team.
* Respond quickly to fast-moving business processes and timelines, supporting transactions or financial close deadlines as needed.
* Work closely with Partners, senior personnel and key finance stakeholders in publicly listed and multinational environments.
* Engage with target client base that includes complex group structures, multi-jurisdictional, technically demanding, and those seeking value with a single point of contact; often involving sophisticated procurement processes and SEC-regulated environments.
* Combine rigorous project management with clear communication, technical excellence, and knowledge of shared services centre operating environments.
* Assist with transitions, including on-shoring or off-shoring finance-related processes, and contribute to process documentation, redesign and implementation for Order to Cash (OTC), Procure to Pay (P2P), and Record to Report (R2R).
* Engage with stakeholders to ensure accurate month-end and quarter-end tasks and assist with ad hoc financial analysis and local statutory/tax requirements where needed.
Qualifications and Experience
* ACA/ACCA qualified with 1 - 2 years’ experience in a role demonstrating the required capabilities in either a professional services or industry environment.
* Experience as part of large-scale finance projects in a multinational environment.
* Self-starter with the ability to work on their own initiative while knowing when to seek assistance and collaborate.
* Mature, confident with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
