To support growth and expansion we are currently recruiting for a EHSW ManagerFix-term contract: Maternity coverLocation : LimerickWorking pattern: Monday- Thursday from 08:00-16:30 Friday 07:00-15:30Main duties and responsibilitiesThe EHSW Manager reports to the Senior Manager and is responsible for overseeing all aspects of HSEQ across the sitesManage ISO Certification and AuditsOrganize Health and Safety Training and manage the on sites training matrixDevelop and work with the teams on monthly safety alert/toolbox talk topics as per current risks and trends.Order and arrange PPE for high risk tasksParticipate in the audit processes and procedures, ensuring the business complies with all relevant statutory and best practiceOversee and implement task specific safety documentation, ensuring risks and hazards are communicated to all relevant partiesDevelop and train Employees on EHS ProceduresCarry out COSHH Assessments and chemical handling training within the PlantInvestigate and compile Accident/Incident/Near Miss ReportsRoll out the zero harm reporting program for each Plant and manage the data monthlyDevelop procedures and SOPs for the on site teams working with the Client EHS Team.Carrying out Site Audit InspectionsSupport the Team developing High Risk Assessments and Method Statements across the Contract.Support Waste Management in line with Vendors and Internal DGSA SupervisorsSupport Waste Administrator on waste management and invoicing in line with the Commercial TeamAnalyze the monthly EHS statistics for global board reports and looking for any current trendsLiaise with EHS regulators HSA, EPA, local councils etc.Lead by example with PPE compliance across the PlantsCollaborate with site leadership to ensure alignment on priority EHS issues and plans to address samePromote and support a culture of accountability and collaboration in relation to safety and environmental performance and expectationsManage spend in line with budget and drives efficiencies and cost savings across EHS service and equipment providers.Qualifications and ExperienceMinimum degree or higher diploma in health and safetyMinimum 2.5 years' experience in a customer service driven environmentExperience working with management systems i.e. ISO14001, ISO45001, ISO9001Proven ability to work on own initiative, with problem solving skills and be innovativeMembership of IOSH (or working towards) or equivalentProficiency in Microsoft IT applications Excellent communication skillsGood Organizational Skills, must be able to multitaskFull Clean Driving Licence Access to own vehicleFlexibility to travel as requiredExperience in auditing HSEQ management systemsIND1We are looking to hear from anyone with skills in these areasPlease complete the application and upload your CV if you wish to apply
