Job Description
An experienced SMT Manufacturing Process Engineer is required by Careerwise recruitment to work with a Galway based manufacturing company.
Role of this position
1. Program all SMT equipment, including Printer, Pick and Place Machine and AOI Machine.
2. Setup PTH manufacturing processes and equipment.
3. Work with customers on NPI projects to improve manufacturability and complete NPI projects to schedule.
4. Incorporate Continuous Improvement activity based on Business objectives and current cost reduction goals.
5. Prepare assembly documentation and work instructions.
6. Train Operatives in assembly procedures.
7. Support the Maintenance Team in designing planned maintenance routines necessary for all of the SMT equipment, and, as required, perform critical Engineering Maintenance tasks.
8. Provide technical support to production.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
9. L8 qualification in a manufacturing related engineering discipline or equivalent.
10. Experience working with engineering bill of materials and drawings.
11. Demonstrable working knowledge of SMT components and processes.
