Our client, a leading company in the Building/Mechanical Services industry, is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Building Services Engineer. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and fast-paced team, working on innovative projects. The successful candidate will play a critical role in the preparation of tender documentation, coordinating with design teams, and ensuring smooth communication between clients, designers, and subcontractors.
Responsibilities:
1. Assist in the preparation of detailed tender documentation using AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
2. Interpret and work with specifications, service drawings, architectural, and structural details.
3. Coordinate with design teams and subcontractors to ensure seamless project execution.
4. Liaise with Clients, Designers, and Architects to obtain necessary design details and approvals.
5. Ensure all working drawings and designs meet client requirements and project specifications.
6. Manage project timelines, ensuring documentation is completed within tight deadlines.
7. Regularly communicate project status to internal teams and external stakeholders.
8. Review and assess design changes, ensuring compliance with the project scope.
9. Attend project meetings as needed to provide updates and gather information.
10. Assist in resolving design-related issues promptly to avoid project delays.
Requirements:
1. Minimum of 5 years' experience in the Building/Mechanical Services industry.
2. Relevant qualification in Building/Mechanical Services Engineering is desirable.
3. Proficiency in using and reading AutoCAD is essential.
4. Strong understanding of design drawings, specifications, and architectural details.
