The Role
We’re hiring a Senior Marketing Manager to lead and scale Apata’s marketing function. This is a senior, high-impact role responsible for defining marketing strategy, owning execution, and building the foundations for a world-class B2B fintech marketing engine.
As Apata’s most senior marketing hire, you will operate as both strategist and hands‑on leader — setting direction, prioritising initiatives, managing budgets, and ensuring marketing activity directly supports commercial growth. You will work closely with founders, sales, and external partners, and over time will help shape how the marketing function scales as the company grows.
This role sits at the centre of Apata’s brand, demand generation, and go‑to‑market efforts across the global fintech ecosystem.
What You Will Do
Define and own Apata’s end‑to‑end marketing strategy, aligned to company growth and revenue goals.
Act as the senior marketing voice within the business, partnering closely with founders and sales leadership.
Build the foundations for a scalable marketing function, including processes, tooling, and partner relationships.
Lead Account‑Based Marketing (ABM) strategy and execution for high‑value enterprise accounts.
Design and deliver integrated multi‑channel campaigns targeting senior decision‑makers in banks and fintechs.
Drive inbound demand, brand credibility, and sales enablement to support enterprise sales cycles.
Own and strengthen Apata’s brand positioning, narrative, and messaging across all external touchpoints.
Ensure consistency and clarity across website, LinkedIn, press, events, and thought leadership.
Translate complex fintech and payments concepts into compelling, commercially relevant stories.
Own LinkedIn as a core channel, managing both organic and paid activity to build authority and reach.
Plan and execute activity across PR, podcasts, events, conferences, and bespoke industry engagements.
Work with agencies, freelancers, and media partners to deliver high‑quality output efficiently.
What We’re Looking For
Significant experience in senior B2B marketing roles, ideally within fintech, financial services, or complex enterprise technology.
Proven track record of building and executing marketing strategy in a scaling company or high‑growth environment.
Deep experience delivering ABM and multi‑channel enterprise campaigns with measurable results.
Strong hands‑on expertise in LinkedIn marketing (organic and paid).
Commercially minded, with a clear understanding of how marketing supports revenue and sales effectiveness.
Excellent project and stakeholder management skills, able to run multiple initiatives in parallel.
Comfortable operating as a senior individual contributor while leveraging agencies and partners for scale.
Strong communicator and leader, able to influence internally and externally.
