About Us
Monks Ballyvaughan is a boutique hotel, restaurant, and bar on the Wild Atlantic Way, known for fresh seafood, warm hospitality, and stunning sea views.
We are now seeking an experienced Deputy General Manager to support daily operations, focusing on Reception and Accommodation.
The Role
You will assist the General Manager in leading the hotel's day-to-day operations, ensuring high standards across guest services, housekeeping, and front office.
This is a hands-on leadership role in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee Reception and Accommodation teams.
Manage reservations, check-ins, guest relations, and billing.
Maintain housekeeping standards and public area cleanliness.
Support recruitment, training, and performance management.
Control departmental budgets and labour costs.
Handle guest feedback and act as Duty Manager when required.
Requirements
Minimum 3 years of hotel management or supervisory experience.
Proven experience in Front Office and Accommodation is essential.
Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills.
PMS knowledge (Mews or similar preferred).
Flexible and hands-on approach.
